FRC removed USTs at three service stations slated
for demolition where a new ramp was needed for the
I-95 Woodrow Wilson Bridge across the Potomac
River. FRC obtained all necessary permits and
removed the tanks over a period of three weeks.
FRC managed all wastes from the sites, including
waste gasoline and diesel fuel, contaminated
water, and contaminated soil. FRC also provided
storage and removal of contaminated groundwater
from utility excavations in those areas. Finally,
FRC provided disposal documentation and closure
reports in accordance with specifications and
state regulations.
